Privacy Policy for Quick Share on Apple Platforms

Last updated: July 19, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Quick Share handles data in its iOS and macOS apps, including Cloud Transfer, local network transfers, account sign-in, and in-app purchases. It is provided for App Store review and for users of Quick Share on iPhone, iPad, and Mac.

Data We Collect

  • -Account identifiers and profile data from Sign in with Apple or Google Sign-In, such as user ID, email address when provided, display name, and profile photo URL when provided.
  • -Cloud Transfer metadata, including file name, file size, upload ID, expiration time, access-code status, and transfer status.
  • -Subscription status and store transaction identifiers needed to verify and provide paid features.
  • -Diagnostic, security, and abuse-prevention data such as IP address, request timing, error logs, and App Check or authentication tokens.

Files and Cloud Transfer

Files uploaded through Cloud Transfer are stored temporarily so recipients can download them through a share link. Files are automatically deleted after the selected expiration period or when applicable limits are reached. Once deleted, files cannot be recovered.

LAN transfers are sent directly between devices on the local network and are not uploaded to Quick Share servers.

In-App Purchases

Purchases and subscriptions on Apple platforms are processed by Apple. Quick Share receives signed transaction information or subscription status information from Apple only as needed to verify entitlement, prevent fraud, and provide paid Cloud Transfer features. We do not receive or store your full payment card details.

Platform Differences

On macOS, Quick Share accesses only files or folders you select, and may save received files to a destination you choose. On iOS and macOS, LAN transfers are sent directly between devices on the local network and are not uploaded to Quick Share servers.

How We Use Data

  • -Provide file transfer, cloud upload, download, and link management features.
  • -Verify subscriptions and apply account entitlements.
  • -Secure the service, prevent abuse, investigate reports, and comply with legal obligations.
  • -Respond to support requests and account deletion requests.
