Quick Share ("us", "we", or "our") operates the Quick Share file transfer service (the "Service"). This page explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle your files. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

Personal Data
When you create an account, we may collect:

Usage Data
When you access the Service, we may automatically collect your IP address, browser type and version, pages visited, time and date of visit, and similar diagnostic information.

How Your Files Are Handled
Cloud Transfer
Files uploaded through Cloud Transfer are stored temporarily on our servers. They are automatically deleted after 7 days or once the download limit is reached, whichever comes first. Once deleted, files cannot be recovered.
LAN Transfer
Files shared via LAN Transfer go directly between your devices using WebRTC. They never pass through our servers. We cannot see, access, or store your files during a LAN transfer.
Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We recommend not sharing highly sensitive information (such as passwords or financial data) through any file transfer service.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you by email and/or a prominent notice on the Service before any material change takes effect. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page always reflects the most recent version.
