QR Code to Link

Scan a QR code with your camera or upload a screenshot to reveal its link. Review the destination before you choose to open it.

Scan a QR code

Choose a live camera scan or an image already on your device.

Point your camera at a QR code. Camera access requires your permission and a secure connection (HTTPS).

Scanned in your browser

Camera frames and uploaded images are decoded on your device. This tool does not upload them to Quick Share.

You choose when to open

The decoded address is shown first. Check the domain before opening a link from an unfamiliar QR code.

How to turn a QR code into a link

You can scan a printed code, a code on another screen, or a saved screenshot.

1

Choose camera or image

Start your camera and grant permission, or upload an image that contains the complete QR code.

2

Let the reader decode it

Hold the code steady and well lit. For an image, the result appears after you select the file.

3

Review and use the link

Read the destination, then copy the URL or open it in a new tab. Nothing opens automatically.

Read QR code URLs from photos and screenshots

A QR code can store a website address, text, or other data. This reader extracts the content and identifies web links that use HTTP or HTTPS. If the code contains plain text instead, the text is displayed for you to copy.

Use the image option when a QR code is in a screenshot or saved photo. Use the camera option for printed codes or codes displayed on another device. For best results, keep all four corners in view and avoid glare or blur.

QR Code to Link FAQ

Can I scan a QR code from a screenshot?

Yes. Save the screenshot as an image, choose Upload image, and select it. Make sure the complete QR code is visible.

Do I need to install an app or create an account?

No. This tool works in a supported browser without an account or separate app.

Are my camera images or uploaded files sent to a server?

No. This tool decodes camera frames and selected images in your browser. It does not upload them to Quick Share.

Why is my camera not working?

Your browser must support camera access, the page must use HTTPS, and you must allow camera permission. You can upload an image if camera access is unavailable.

What if the QR code does not contain a link?

The reader shows the decoded content and lets you copy it. Only HTTP and HTTPS web addresses get an Open link button.

Why was no QR code found in my image?

Try a sharper image with the entire QR code visible, good contrast, and less glare. Very small or damaged codes may not decode.
